A big juicy welcome to Orange County
Named after Florida's biggest export, a visit to Orange County squeezes every last drop out of your family vacation. As the home of Florida's major theme parks, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld Orlando, an Orange County vacation rental "ap-peels" to families and thrill-seekers young and old. And if roller coasters aren't quite your thing, you'll find plenty of more grounded attractions, including swimming with dolphins in Discovery Cove, an interactive water park and aquarium. After dark, head to International Drive for dinner, or take in a show at Disney Springs or Universal CityWalk.
Welcome to Orange County - the most magical place on earth
As Florida's thrill-seeking capital, Orange County produces more screams (of delight) per minute than any other county. Experience the thrilling rides at Universal Studios Resort and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, or meet the orcas and manatees at SeaWorld Orlando. Orange County is also home to Orlando's original mega theme park, Walt Disney World. Making dreams come true since it opened in 1971, thousands still flock to see Cinderella's Castle, Space Mountain, and to meet Mickey and Minnie and friends at the Main Street Electrical Parade each day.
Let's go to Orange County - and make it snappy
At the heart of Central Florida, Orange County is around a 40-minute drive from the nearest beach on the East Coast. There are many inland lakes and nature reserves dotted around the County, within easy reach of Orlando. For the best selection of trails, head southeast to the Isle of Pine Nature Preserve on the shores of Lake Mary Jane. It has several miles of horseback riding trails and hiking routes through some of Florida's unique habitats, pine forests, and wildflower meadows. Just keep your eyes peeled for Florida's famous scaly residents, the alligators.
